Rugby World Cup 2019™ Imperial Tour
19 September – 23 October 2019
32 Nights / 33 Days in Japan
Imperial Tour Overview
Our Imperial Tour kicks off with Scotland’s crunch match against Ireland in their opening match of Rugby World Cup™ 2019. The other matches (all with official match tickets) that are included on this tour are Scotland v Samoa, Scotland v Russia, Scotland v Japan plus the two quarter-finals on Scotland’s side of the draw which will take place in International Stadium Yokohama.
Over 33 days you will travel across stunning Japan using the famous Bullet trains as well as our executive coaches. Location highlights include Tokyo Metropolitan, Mount Fuji, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Numerous excursions (ancient shrines, monuments, museums etc) with our bilingual guides are included within the Imperial Tour package price. The language barrier should not be underestimated and our bilingual guides will help you to truly connect with the Japanese people and their culture.
One of the authentic experiences that we have included is a night at a Japanese Ryokan – a traditional Japanese-style inn. Expect minimalistic tatami mat rooms with Japanese futon bedding. Trade in your shoes & “regular” clothes for yukata – a Japanese-style robe – and slippers. Onsen (hot springs) are available for bathing and your stay includes a multi-course traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. This is a great way to fully immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture!
We have also included a number of sociable lunches / dinners throughout the tour.
Bullet train and Executive Coach Transfers throughout.
4 & 5* hotels throughout.
Breakfast served every day
Nine lunches / dinners (ex drinks) are included.
Official Category D match tickets to all six matches.
*There will be a ticket upgrade programme on offer.
The language barrier (both written and spoken) should not be underestimated and that is why we have included so many great excursions with our bilingual guides. (See sightseeing tab for more info)
